Building a new home in Clyde North VIC
Clyde North is still being built. The City of Casey's Clyde North precinct alone, between Grices Road, Thompsons Road, Pound Road and Cardinia Creek, plans for around 6,605 homes, and estates such as Highgrove, Berwick Waters, Meridian and Thompsons Run continue to release land. Most buyers sign a house and land package with a volume builder, which means a fixed sequence of stages and a short window at each one to see the work before it is covered.
The Clyde North precinct covers about 612 hectares and is planned for roughly 6,605 dwellings.
Volume builders work to tight programs, so stages can follow each other within days.
Double storey homes on narrow lots are common, which puts weight on frame, balcony and roof inspections.
Your contract sets when the builder may claim each payment; booking inspections before each claim keeps leverage with you.
Most of our Clyde North visits are slab, frame, lock-up, fixing and pre-handover inspections.
